Call to Confession      Rev. Blevins

Prayer of Confession - In Unison

O God, we turn to you in confession and supplication.  Before you and our neighbors, we acknowledge our abuse of your gifts. Forgive us for exercising them without respect for your purpose in bestowing them.  Help us to recognize that you call us to use our gifts – not that others might conceal theirs, but that others might reveal theirs; not that the abilities of some might be applauded, but that the abilities of all might be appreciated; not that the worth of individuals might be downgraded, but that the welfare of the community might be upgraded. We ask our prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
