We arrived  in Sahiwal, Pakistan on Feb. 14th  our Tourist Visa is only authorized for 30 days. We have been assisting Rev. Ron Brunson with Children's Hospital affairs, and Rev. Gary Letchworth with the ARP Mission. Sunday I spoke before the congregation of the ARP  Tariq Bin Ziad Colony. This Sunday I will speak at the Mabel  Lowery Pressley Hostel, it provides church services for the young ladies college, hospital staff, nursing school students, staff, and missionary's.

We visited churches on the highway between Sahiwal and Chichawatni. We first visited #3 Village Teen Chuck ARP Church. Church had been torn down and is being rebuilt from scratch. We met members/bricklayers and members/ workers, and enjoyed Pepsi and fellowship. We then traveled to the  Conference Center / Esther's House at Chichawatni. Esther was the firist martyr of the ARP Pakistan Church. She was shot and killed while sleeping by an unknown assailant in 1961. The complex includes 5 acres of land undeveloped, and quarters for caretakers and family. Plus the Conference Center. We drove 1/2 mile to the beautiful remodeled ARP Chichawtni Church.

Complex contained church, pastors house, clinic, school, teachers quarters, and caretakers quarters. Plus 6.5 acres of undeveloped land owned by the ARP mission.

Included is road front property for commercial shops; 2 are completed, 3 under  construction, goal of forty shops. Goal of 3 shops to be owned by Synod.

Spent the day of Feb. 22 attending Pakistan Synod meeting  with Rev. Brunson and Rev Letchworth. Many discussions on finical, and  church development's.

We will continue to help the Christian Children's Hospital and the ARP Mission in any way the Lord chooses.

In these troubled times, Pakistan needs your prayers more than ever. Please pray for peace and harmony for our friends here in Pakistan.

     Your friends in Christ,

      David & Susan

Dear David and Susan,

Greeting from Sahiwal...
We're warming up, and can't say that I really like it.

The more we uproot to try and "fix" things, it seems we uncover even more that needs "fixin".  Sorta tiring.

The second commercial washer has been delivered...they can't complain now about not having what's needed to have clean sheets!!  Also, the new incinerator is ready to be fired up in another week.  Thanks for your help with both of these items.  We're still about $1K short of having enough to cover the costs of both items.

Anyway, I'm attaching something for you.  I hope you like it.  This appeared in the ARP Magazine (Pakistan version).

Love you...Ron
