Benevolent Outreach Activities/Ideas:
Good Samaritan: Good Samaritan is in need of the following: dry mixes (cake, muffin), oil and peanut butter & jelly.
First Baptist Weekday School: We will continue to collect items for art supplies. Marsha will make a box with a list attached.
Hospice Program: please continue to collect bud vases and literature
Red Cross: Ann Marie suggested that we do personal care kits and clean up kits like we did last year. We will discuss after Easter.
Charles Harris: Women will cook for Charles and Anne on a volunteer basis. Please note Charles is allergic to beef. It was stated that he is not on a restricted diet.
New Business/Upcoming Events:
Maundy Thursday Dinner & Program: Betty encouraged everyone to attend. Leigh will head the committee to set up the tables and get ice. (We will set up tables at the March meeting which will be held March 18th). Dinner at 6:00 P.M.
Easter Sunday: Women will bring eggs and fill them at the March meeting. Mickey or Margaret will get the marshmallow eggs.
Bible School: set for July 14 - July 18 (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.)
Ann Marie asked for any suggestions for Guest Speakers throughout the year.
